Built on a dedication to helping individuals on their journeys towards empowerment, the Suh Family Foundation works with communities to equip people with the resources they need to sustain long-term success.
What we do.
Founded by Ndamukong and Katya Suh, the Suh Family Foundation works hand-in-hand with communities to supply resources across three pillars that were pivotal to the Suh’s own success: education, health and wellness, and empowerment.
A focus on education was instilled in Ndamukong at a young age by his mother, Bernadette, who had a long career as a teacher. Katya’s family shared the same passion, which led to the pair meeting at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a recipient of past Suh Foundation donations. Access to education is at the forefront of the Foundation’s work, as the Suhs understand its value as a building block for success.
Health & Wellness
As collegiate athletes, Ndamukong and Katya both understood the importance of nourishing mind and body. This commitment led to Ndamukong’s 10+year career in the National Football League and Katya’s successful college basketball career and lifelong mind and body wellness journey. Programs within the Foundation work to engage and educate communities on health and wellness starting at a young age.
Creating a supportive and empowering environment for all people has always been a focus for the Suh family. Throughout her life and early career, Katya has especially focused on the empowerment of women while Ndamukong’s dedication centers on inspiring and supporting the next generation of young athletes and unexpected investors. The Suhs believe that through knowledge and education we can create and foster communities where all can celebrate their diverse, yet shared experiences.
